ROUND TABLE: “PARTNERSHIP AND COOPERATION AS INTEGRAL COMPONENTS OF THE STATE AND SOCIETY” DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

On October 12, 2021, on the eve of the University Days, the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, the scientific group “Derzhavotvorets” held a student round table on “Partnership and cooperation as an integral part of the state and society.”

The Round Table was attended by students majoring in 281 “Public Administration” 1-5 courses, faculty and practitioner, stakeholder, head of the Interregional Department of the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service in Lviv and Transcarpathian regions Ya. B. Koval, who highlighted the issues of the peculiarities of work in the civil service, prospects for career growth and remuneration of civil servants, opportunities to deepen cooperation and attract students to new projects of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management”.

 The purpose of the round table was to identify the main aspects of partnership and cooperation between the state and society, to outline the main tools and mechanisms of such interaction, to identify problems and methods of their elimination.

Members of the teaching staff of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management and student youth-members of the scientific group “Derzhavotvorets” actively participated in the discussion of the problems of cooperation between the state and society in various fields. The discussion of reports on foreign experience of relations between the state and society and the possibilities of its implementation in Ukraine, investment policy of the state and its impact on the economic development of the regions of Ukraine, partnership and cooperation in the Anglo-American model of corporate governance, joint stock companies of partnership and cooperation in corporate governance, e-government as a form of public administration to deepen cooperation between the state and society, anti-corruption issues and cooperation of civil society institutions with public authorities in the field of youth policy, etc.
