PROFESSIONAL ORIENTATION EXCURSION TO THE GU DPS IN THE LVIV REGION FOR STUDENTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM “ACCOUNTING, ANALYSIS AND FINANCIAL INVESTIGATIONS”

On April 5, 2024, students of the educational program “Accounting, Analysis and Financial Investigations” together with the associate professor of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control Loboda N.O. “; “Enterprise reporting”; “Introduction to the profession (training course)”; “Economic analysis”).
Specialists of the Lviv DPI of the Main Directorate of the DPS in the Lviv region met with the higher education graduates – the deputy head of the Lviv DPI, the head of the department of electronic services and reporting Oleksandra Gedz, the deputy head of the department for the provision of administrative and other services Oksana Kerebko and the head of the sector of the organization of the work of the CCP Mykhailo Shainer.
During this practical and extremely interesting excursion, students of higher education had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the peculiarities of work at the DPS. Specialists of the Lviv DPI familiarized future taxpayers with the work of the Lviv Tax Office, with the taxes paid by taxpayers, conducted a tour of the Lviv CCP and talked about the services that tax officials provide to legal entities, individuals – entrepreneurs and taxpayers.

In addition, tax officials informed about the work of electronic tax services, noting that for the convenience of taxpayers, the DPS is constantly working on their improvement and development.
During the meetings with future taxpayers, Lviv DPI experts also noted that the Declaration Campaign – 2024 is currently actively underway, during which taxpayers must submit declarations on property status and income received in 2023 by May 1, 2024.
The teaching staff of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv express their sincere gratitude to the employees of the Lviv DPI for a wonderful educational tour.
We will continue communication with the controlling bodies in the future. After all, this form of cooperation is interesting and useful. We are convinced that the information obtained by higher education students during their visit to the Lviv tax region will certainly become part of their knowledge of taxation and will be useful to them in the future.
