On risk management in business intelligence: as part of practical activities from EPAM Systems

December 16, 2021 teachers of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics, Faculty of Finance and Business Management, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Shevchuk I.B., Vaskiv O.M. and students enrolled in the educational program “Information Technology in Business” for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees were part of the workshop for Business Analysts Risk Analysis and Management for BA, organized by EPAM.

The issues discussed at the online meeting covered a wide range of issues related to risk analysis for business analysts. In particular, the issues of what is risk, risk analysis in management, when to conduct risk management and how, how to identify risk, and so on.

The speakers presented the risk evolution matrix, the risk matrix gradation and an example of a risk journal.

The issues of risk analysis and management for business analysts considered at the event will consolidate the knowledge of students obtained during the study of professional disciplines of OP “Information Technology in Business”, and teachers will use them in the future to cover relevant topics of their own courses.
