Participation of the Department of Financial Management in the organization of the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference of Graduates of Higher Education and Young Scientists “Actual Problems of the Development of the Financial and Economic System: Priorities and Prospects”

On October 19, 2023, the Department of Financial Management became a co-organizer of the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference of Higher Education Graduates and Young Scientists on the topic “Current problems of the development of the financial and economic system: priorities and prospects”, which was held on the basis of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics by the Department of Finance, Economic security, banking and insurance business.

Graduates of higher education, graduate students and young scientists from institutions of higher education and scientific institutions of Ukraine and abroad took part in the conference, in particular from Lviv, Kyiv, Irpen, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Poltava, Mukachevo, Uzhhorod, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv, Ostroh, Wroclaw, Rzeszow, Poznań and Tarnobrzeg.

During the meeting, topical issues of the formation of financial and economic stability in Ukraine in the conditions of war, as well as post-war recovery of the economy, which require new approaches to the implementation of the budget, tax, and monetary policies of the state, were discussed. At the plenary session, Oleksandra Oliynyk, a graduate of the OP “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” (scientific director, Associate Professor O. A. Sych), gave a topical report.

The participation of our students of higher education and scientific and pedagogical staff of the department in such scientific conferences contributes to the acquisition of social skills that develop creative, critical and analytical thinking and form soft skills for successful communication.
