Participation of teachers of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control and students-accountants in the First International Educational Forum of Sustainability
On June 17-18, 2021, Ukraine hosted the First International Sustainability Education Forum: an educational and interactive event in the field of sustainable development that will help businesses become attractive to investors, partners and consumers.
Teachers of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management, including the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control, at the invitation of a graduate of 071 “Accounting and Taxation” Bilyakovskaya Christina joined in direct participation in this large-scale project.
14 top speakers from 7 countries, representatives of the EBRD, FMO, UNDP, Global Compact, German Council for Sustainable Development, Indiana University, Institute Gender and Economy and Ukrainian business presented special educational content that finally filled the gaps in sustainability.
In general, the forum answered the questions:
- How is sustainability different from charity and CSR?
- Why is sustainability not just ecology?
- How can business affect climate change?
- Why the future of the circular economy?
- How to interact with stakeholders?
- Why investors emphasize ESG and many other useful knowledge that will bring business closer to sustainable solutions.
All participants in the two-day forum had the opportunity to take a test and receive certificates.
