PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS OF THE UFP-31S GROUP IN THE MOTIVATION TRAINING OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICE OF THE LNU NAMED AFTER IVAN FRANKO
As part of the cooperation of the Psychological Service of LNU with advisers of academic groups, on October 4, 2022, a meeting of students of the UFP-31s group took place with the head of the Psychological Service of LNU named after Ivan Franko (https://www.facebook.com/psysluzhba.lnu), practical psychologist A. Skakovska, which was organized by the deputy head of the department for educational work and the curator of the UFP-31s group with associate professor of the department of public administration and business management Olena Reshota.
Motivational training has become a platform for students to discuss extremely relevant issues of today, because in modern conditions of war, young people strive to be not only successful in the educational process, but also as useful as possible in volunteer and public activities, bringing the victory of Ukraine closer step by step. And constant stressful situations, uncertainty of the future, mixed learning in conditions of air anxiety do not contribute to increasing the motivation of students. As part of the training, the issues of finding internal motivation were discussed, as well as advice on goal setting and planning for the future, time management and stress resistance, changes in values and priorities among today’s youth were provided.
Lively interest was aroused by the discussion of the development of social skills, the need to establish communication interaction, the organization of personal space, planning career growth and understanding the value of the future profession for the reconstruction of the state. The main results of the training were the outlining of a range of problematic issues that require further processing and the development of a holistic vision of ways to increase students’ internal motivation both for learning and for socially useful activities.
