Participation of students of the specialty 281 “Public management and administration” and teachers of the department of public administration and business management in the EU Career Days 2023
During October 2023, students of specialty 281 “Public management and administration” and professors and teaching staff of the department of public administration and business management of the faculty of finance and business management of the Ivan Franko Lviv National University took part in the EU Career Days 2023, which took place for the 7th time in within the walls of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
As part of the event, students and teachers took part in a panel discussion on the topic “Professional development and European integration”, where they got acquainted with the trends in the labor market and the processes of European integration, the basic knowledge and skills of young professionals in the conditions of European integration, educational and professional opportunities for Ukrainian youth in EU policies and programs and with stories of youth career success and business development with EU support.
The student body also actively participated in the solution of practical cases in a number of professional trainings (“The art of public speaking”; “Leadership. The role of a leader in crisis conditions”; “Tools for the development of employees in an international company”; “Overcoming stereotypes in education”) from practitioners in the field of public management and successful entrepreneurs.
The results of the participation of students of the specialty 281 “Public management and administration” in the EU Career Days 2023 were the improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of public administration and business management and the receipt of certificates for participation in the event after successfully completing the test tasks.
