On October 28, 2021, Associate Professor Vasyl Zelenko participated in the 14th Congress of the Ukrainian Association of European Studies 2021 “EU Green Course and its impact on the Europeanization of Ukraine.”

During the event, a lively discussion was provoked by the discussion of the reports of Giorgios Dimitrakopolos (former Member of the European Parliament and Vice-President of the European Parliament). As Giorgios Dimitrakopolos noted, “The EU’s green course: a new benchmark or a new apple of discord in European politics?” Gregory Tsuris (Member of the EU Delegation to Ukraine) reported on the EU Green Course: Challenges for Ukraine. In addition, Petro Krainik, NEO + Ukraine, shared his experience on the peculiarities of Jean Monnet’s projects in Ukraine within the framework of the ERASMUS + national office. The reports of other participants of the Congress were interesting.

This experience is useful for the further work of the Department of Economics and Public Administration, as one of the constant vectors of its work is the teaching and research of problems in the field of European integration and sustainable development in general.
