On May 22, 2023, the students of the UFOM-11 group, together with their mentor Lyudmila Petrishin, held a grand celebration of dedication to the Day of the Vyshivanka, wearing the traditional embroidered shirt for the whole day.

The well-wishing enlightenment demonstrated presentations, with which they learned about the history of the commemoration of the holy day – the Day of the Vyshivanka, with the famous vislovs about the Vyshivanka, the traditions about the creation of the embroidered vrannya, and told about the meaning of the Vyshivanka in the modern world. To reinforce the knowledge, the mentor held a quiz about some facts about the Ukrainian embroidery.


Also, the participants guessed about another famous date of the massacre – the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people, which is widely celebrated by the river of deportation of the Crimean Tatar people from Crimea, which happened on January 18-20, 1944.
