Opportunities for youth to make a difference in the country through volunteering

On May 10, 2023, in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, a meeting of higher education graduates of the first (bachelor) level of education of the academic groups UFE-11c and UFE-21c of the ЕP “Information Technologies in Business” with representatives of the public organization ” We are building Ukraine together.” The organizers of the meeting were advisers of academic groups – the head of the Department of digital economy and business analytics, prof. Shevchuk I.B. and associate professor of the department, Assoc. Borshchuk I.V.

The representatives of BUR told the students about the history of the creation of the public organization, the main directions of its activities, the possibilities and prospects of everyone’s participation in the further reconstruction of Ukraine, in particular about the opportunity to take part in summer BUR camps, where students will not only be able to participate in volunteer activities related to the reconstruction of individual destroyed objects of Ukraine but also to acquire new knowledge and skills, expand the circle of acquaintances and significantly increase their social activity and initiatives in various spheres of social life.

During the event, a lively discussion and team games took place, in which students and teachers of the department took part, on the subject of what are the advantages and disadvantages of the fact that the youth (students in particular) should in the future make every effort to rebuild our state.
