Meeting with stakeholders of the Educational Program “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”

October 20, 2022, students of higher education at the first (bachelor) level of education of the Department of Economics and Public Administration (speciality 281 Public Management and Administration, the educational program “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”) met with our permanent partners from the Educational Program – the Lviv IT-Cluster.

Oleg Leskiv, manager of educational programs, and Maria Drebot, curator of the Educational Program “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”, spoke on behalf of the Lviv IT-Cluster.

At the meeting, students of the UFP-12s and UFP-23s groups got acquainted with the areas of work of the IT cluster in support of educational programs at the University: teamwork with mentors, lectures for students on current topics, practice and internships for students, employment through the IT studio.

Talking to Maria, the students told why they chose the Educational Program “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”, what prospects they see for themselves and what knowledge they would like to get while studying at the University.

They exchanged opinions about the specifics of the HR manager profession, how he should work, how to protect himself from emotional burnout, how to work in a team, about the first practical experience, and what skills and competencies are relevant today.

After the meeting, the head of the Department of Economics, Associate Professor Halyna Kaplenko together with Maria Drebot discussed and planned further joint activities in the direction of updating the educational program, for students of the first (bachelor) level of education – guest lectures, teamwork.
