Lecturers of the Department of Financial Management took part in a practical training forum for the second time

On March 25, 2021 lecturers of the Department of Financial Management prof. Sytnyk N and Vatamanyuk-Zelinska U, assoc. prof. Dubyk V., Shushkova Yu., Popovych D., Zakhidna O., Petyk L., Kruglyakova V. took part in the training forum “Digital Transformations in Education, Business, IT and Culture”. This is not the first event that takes place in support of the European initiative Digital Week and is a joint project of the educational platform “4 PEOPLE”, the Ukrainian Federation of Informatics and the NGO “Ukrainian Association of Information Technology Specialists”.

The priority areas for the application of digital technologies are, in particular, education, health care, e-democracy, urban life, non-cash payments, harmonization with European and world scientific initiatives, governance. All these areas are present in the disciplines of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation” from the perspectives of planning and financing of expenditures, definition of financial indicators, or instruments of customs and tariff regulation, tax administration or insurance business.

The emphasis on digitalization gives the widespread use of information and communication technologies in economic processes, improves the quality of educational and methodological support disciplines of specialty “Finance, Banking and Insurance” and promotes knowledge and professional competence in the use of e-democracy tools. The usage of digital technologies and information security in management and administration is highly important in order to update the digital education of students.
