Internship for students of the specialization 281 “Public Administration and Administration” of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” under the program of the Lviv City Council “First Career Step”

Applicants for higher education majoring in 281 “Public Administration and Administration” of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” of UFP-21c Iryna Ivasyk and Maria Kormylo successfully participated in a two-month internship program of Lviv City Council for future managers “First Career Step”, thanks to which they had the opportunity to become part of the team of the Lviv City Council and join the development of Lviv, undergo internships in local governments and gain invaluable practical experience.

The program “The first career step” is a program that allows young people to understand how the city functions, develops, and most importantly – helps to realize their belonging to the city community and determine their own activities that would bring not only personal but also social good.”

 Iryna Ivasyk passed an internship in the Department of State Registration of the Legal Department of the Lviv City Council and gained her first experience in government agencies. The internship was the most useful, after all was filled with a variety of tasks to apply knowledge of law in practice.

Maria Kormylo gained practical experience in the field of local self-government, got acquainted with the structure of the Lviv City Council and the subtleties of the work of managers within the internship program “First Career Step”. At the end of the internship program, all active participants were awarded diplomas by the Mayor of Lviv A. Sadovy and received a letter of recommendation.
