Interdepartmental methodical seminar “The role of the guarantor and the working group in the development of the educational program”

On December 30, 2021, the Department of Financial Management and the Department of Economics and Public Administration held an interdepartmental methodological seminar “The role of the guarantor and the working group in the development of the educational program.”

Ukraine’s accession to the European Higher Education Area requires not only reforming higher education itself in accordance with the recommendations set out in the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG-2015), but also the conscious attitude of the educational community to these processes. Improving the quality of the educational process is impossible both without intensifying the processes of internal quality assurance and without external consultative assessment of the quality of educational programs and educational activities.

Current issues of the interdepartmental methodological seminar, due to the analysis of the current state of quality assurance at the University, indicators of evaluation of the educational program, and above all – the result of communication with guarantors and the working group of the educational program of stakeholders and graduates. all participants in the educational process.

It is obvious that its efficiency and effectiveness depend on the research and teaching staff: the guarantor, who coordinates and takes care of the educational program and the working group. That is why the individual characteristics of the guarantor and members of the working group, their powers, tools (developed by the University) to perform their functional responsibilities were the subject of discussion.

As a result of the work continued during the existence of the educational program, the guarantor of the educational program and the working group must take into account the comments and suggestions of all stakeholders, if necessary, develop draft amendments to the educational program to correct identified shortcomings or make proposed changes.
