Guest lecture-meeting on the topic: “User Story and Use Case: indispensable techniques for working with requirements”

On December 3, 2021, as part of the deepening of the educational process for graduates of bachelor’s and master’s degrees, studying in the educational program “Information Technology in Business”, a guest lecture-meeting on “User Story and Use Case” : indispensable techniques for working with requirements».

The lecture was given by Bohdan Holod – Lead Business Analyst at Epam, who shared with students and faculty of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business professional experience gained during 5 years in business analysis, development of HRMS-systems, work in enterprise organizations, optimization business processes.

In this lecture, students got acquainted with:

• the concept of User stories and the peculiarities of their use;
• possibilities of application of User stories in the context of project specifics;
• INVEST principles;
• the concept of Use cases, their classification and structural elements;
• Gherkin syntax;
• application of User stories and Use cases on projects in Agile methodology
