Guest lecture on the subject “Business Process Automation” for students of OP “Information Technology in Business” specialty 051 “Economics” (group UFE-21c)

On November 5, 2021 at the invitation of the lecturer of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics Vaskiv Oksana for students of the educational program “Information Technology in Business” specialty 051 “Economics” (UFE-21c group) in the discipline “Business Process Automation” was held guest lecture to Olesya Shevchuk – representative of the Odoo Community Association in Ukraine.

The guest lecture consisted of two parts:

• theoretical – with coverage of the main issues of: innovative tools for business process management; new solutions for Ukrainian business; advantages of open source ERP systems; modules for any needs; e-learning module, which provides the creation of e-courses with the ability to test the knowledge of participants; tools design of the formation of the online store and platform Odoo – open source platforms;
• practical – in which students together with the lecturer were able to automate the process of interaction of several modules, namely the project approach to business processes was considered.

In the process of communicating with students, the speaker considered in detail the automation of business processes through separate modules, namely: CRM, Sales, Purchasing, My dashboards, Production with the process of generating the structure of the specification, etc.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Olesya informed about current vacancies in the IT market, including and at BJet, for student employment.
