Guest lecture by a representative of the BIOS company for students of OP “Information Technology in Business” in the study of the discipline “Decision Making Systems”

On November 9, 2021, as part of the study of the discipline “Decision Making Systems” at the invitation of Professor Iryna Shevchuk, BIOS representative Olexander Osenin held a guest lecture-workshop for students of the educational program “Information Technology in Business” on “Business Analytics with Power BI”.

📌 Among the issues considered were:

• Power BI architecture and its comparison with other systems for business intelligence.
• Practical cases on data visualization and report creation, in particular for effective organization of work of shopping malls, online stores, HR-managers.
• The benefits of using Power BI for business and the business risks that it reduces.
• Roadmap to get the necessary business intelligence skills in Power BI.

The staff of the Department of Digital Economics and Business Analytics is sincerely grateful to BIOS for cooperation in this format. It was an interesting and useful experience that left pleasant impressions and plans for future meetings!!!
