Guest meeting-lecture with a specialist-practitioner for students of the fourth year of study of the first (bachelor) level of education of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs”

October 9, 2023, as part of the study of the discipline “Financial Compliance” (lecturer – PhD in Economics, associate professor of the Department of Financial Management V.V. Kruhliakova) for students of higher education in the fourth year of the first (bachelor) level of education of the educational program “Finance, customs and tax affairs” (specialty 072 “Finance, banking, insurance and stock market”) a guest meeting-lecture was held with Anastasia Baik, a practical specialist – consultant of business clients of PJSCB “Lviv”, on the topic “Financial compliance in the bank”.

The main task of such a meeting is the formation of a broader understanding of the purpose and goals of financial compliance in the bank’s activities among the applicants. Therefore, within the framework of the meeting, Anastasia familiarized the listeners with the specifics of the activity of PJSCB “Lviv”, in particular, the bank’s compliance risk management system. The speaker focused special attention on the bank’s compliance policies, such as the policy for regulating conflicts of interest and the code of corporate ethics.

The audience took an active part in the discussion and received comprehensive answers to all the questions that interested them.

At the end of the meeting, there was a discussion of the curriculum and syllabus from the component of the educational and professional program “Financial compliance”, during which it was proposed to form an additional topic “Banking compliance”. This will make it possible to expand the competences of higher education seekers of the first (bachelor) level of education of the educational program “Finance, customs and tax affairs” (specialty 072 “Finance, banking, insurance and stock market”).
