Guest lecture by the analyst of the department of corporate business development and SMEs of JSC “KredoBank” Nazar Kulik on the topic “Functioning of JSC “KredoBank” on the money market of Ukraine”

On November 21, 2022, as part of the study of the academic discipline “Money and Credit” (Teacher of Economics, Associate Professor L.O. Petyk) for students of the 2nd year of the first bachelor’s level of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” of the Department of Finance management of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, a guest lecture was held on the topic “Functioning of JSC “KredoBank” on the money market of Ukraine” (speaker: Nazar Kulyk, analyst of the Department of Corporate Business Development and SMEs of JSC “KredoBank”).

The following questions were discussed at the lecture:

• – the history of creation of JSC “KredoBank”;
• – positions of JSC “KredoBank” in the banking sector of Ukraine;
• – dynamics of the bank’s loan and deposit portfolio;
• – the dynamics of the bank’s net assets and profit;
• – ratings of JSC “KredoBank”;
• – major changes in the bank’s IT systems;
• – active products of the bank and products in the process of implementation in terms of corporate business and SMEs.

At the end of the meeting, Nazar Kulyk informed the students about the Employment Program for students and graduates of educational institutions at JSC “KREDOBANK” – Absolvent.

In the course of his speech, the lecturer emphasized the attention of students of higher education on the practical aspects of those theoretical problems studied by students within the academic discipline “Money and Credit”.

The information related to the practical aspects of the work of a bank analyst aroused the special interest of students as future professionals. A positive point of the lecture was the discussion of the issues, students actively asked questions and received comprehensive answers.

Conducting classes of this format contribute to the more effective formation of professional competences, the achievement of the stated goals and corresponding programmatic learning outcomes.
