13/10/2021. Guest lecture for students of higher education in specialities 281 Public Management and Administration (Department of Economics and Public Administration). The lecture in English was given by Professor, Doctor of Economics Maryna Averkyna (Ostroh Academy, Estonia Business School).

Today’s English-language lecture was the first presentation in Ukraine of the results of Marina Averkina’s research in the doctoral program of Estonia Business School.

The system of public transport management at the state level (North-West Transport Center, Road Administration) and at the level of municipalities (cities) is aimed primarily at meeting the needs of Estonian citizens. The quality of public transport services, e-ticket, control system, institutional support, the right to vote of Estonian citizens, the quality of public services and many other interesting aspects of the announced topic we heard today in lectures.

Management in Estonia is a dynamic system that is constantly improving. This is important for the citizens of the country, as they comply with current legislation and respect their right to vote.

In the feedback, the participants discussed: the possibility and problems of introducing a quality transport system in Ukraine, the activities of municipal officials in Estonia, the impact of the pandemic on the Estonian economy and government policy during this period.
