Festival of Science – 2023: round table of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics “Modern trends of business analysis”

On May 15, 2023, as part of the Science Festival – 2023, a round table on “Modern trends in business analysis” was held at the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management at the Ivan Franko Lviv National University. The event was attended by business analyst of the Empeek company Anna Khmilova, students of the first (bachelor) level of higher education of the OP “Information technologies in business” and teachers of the department.

The participants of the round table focused on discussing the essence, main tasks and technologies of business analysis, aspects and main requirements for the work of a business analyst. We considered the peculiarities and trends of business analysis dictated by modern conditions and rules of doing business, as well as the challenges of the pandemic and martial law in Ukraine.

Anna Khmilova shared interesting and useful examples from the practical experience of business analysis in the IT sphere and other sectors of the economy.
