Excursion to the Botanical Garden of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv

On April 10, 2024, students of the UFE-21s group of the Faculty of Finance and Business, together with the group advisor, associate professor of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics Iryna BORSHKUK, took an excursion to the Botanical Garden of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

Spring is in a hurry to bloom, and therefore adds even more bright colors to the color palette of the garden. It seems that nature wants to comfort us in this difficult time. Students had the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the Botanical Garden, see noble magnolias, bright rhododendrons, forsythia, tulips, hyacinths, magical sakura and many, many other floral beauties.

The Botanical Garden of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is one of the oldest gardens in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Founded in 1852, it has a long history and an extremely rich collection of plants. Today, the botanical garden is an educational, research and nature conservation institution at the Ivan Franko National University.

The Botanical Garden conducts extensive educational activities aimed at spreading botanical and ecological knowledge among the population. For this purpose, the Botanical Garden annually holds open days, which residents and guests of the city of Lviv can visit. Employees of the Botanical Garden conduct excursions for schoolchildren and students. Students had the opportunity to listen to one of these excursions, receiving a lot of interesting and informative information.
