Educational event. Charity event “Easter Basket”

On April 5-7, 2023, the Department of Economics and Public Administration joined the annual “Easter Baskets” promotion.

Students of the 1st-4th years of the Department of Economics and Public Administration and the department’s teachers joined the charity event “Easter Basket”, organised by the Garrison Church of Peter and Paul and the Church of the Mother of God of Perpetual Help.

The campaign’s purpose is to give this year’s “Easter basket” to families in need and families of fallen Heroes: about 350 families will receive help.

The participants of the action, who expressed a desire to help those in need, took special paper “bricks” from the Garrison Temple. Each brick is a tiny particle of human kindness. They indicate things that can be purchased and brought to the temple. This idea is based on the principle of “from the world to the thread”; there is a small list with many bricks so that everyone can join. Students sincerely and responsibly participated in the promotion and bought much more products than on their lists on the bricks.

Such actions allow us to give love, support, care and protection to those who need it most now. Charity allows us to feel useful and necessary, to change the world for the better.

Good always wins! The light of Easter will win!
