Department of Public Administration and Business Management and cooperation with stakeholders

Currently, there is a very serious transformation of functions, status, position, mentality, responsibilities and tasks facing the modern educational system. We are not just moving from one paradigm of educational program development to another, we are seeing a great diversification of educational programs. Today’s students are increasingly realizing that their intellectual potential and the knowledge they gain must be answered not only within the walls of the university but also in communication with stakeholders. Much attention in the teaching of subjects for students of 281 “Public Management and Administration” educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” given to key competencies that are necessary for all people to improve individual capacity and development, increase employment opportunities, social inclusion and active citizenship.

On April 23, 2021, students and faculty met with Ulyana Dorosh, Head of the Department of Labor and Family Policy of the Department of Social Protection of the Population at the Lviv Regional State Administration.

Ulyana Dorosh is not only an expert in her field, she shows by her personal example the real work on changes in social policy and helps people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. She creates good deeds on a daily basis, is currently the founder of the Social Atelier “Butterfly”, co-founder of the Social Cafe “Basil”, deputy of the Lviv Regional Council of the VII convocation, Chairman of the Foundation in the Charitable Foundation “Butterfly”.

The meeting was extremely interesting and productive, the students were happy to communicate and ask a lot of questions. We thank the Department of Internal Policy of LODA for joining this meeting and real cooperation with students. After all, with your training and experience you contribute to the development of future civil servants.
