Cooperation with employers is a priority area of graduation departments
Ensuring the preparation of a high professional level of the graduate is one of the priority tasks of the graduating departments of financial management, economics and public administration of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
Working with potential employers is useful for both students, as it allows them to see the prospects of the future profession, and employers who are interested in establishing contact with graduates and the future can be a driving force and a source of innovation in financial institutions, government and business .
As part of this cooperation, on April 16, 2021, an online meeting was held on the topic: “Decentralization of public authorities in Ukraine” with Nakonechna Svitlana Ivanivna – Deputy Director of Finance LODA and Bordun Olga Ivanivna – Head of AH Department.
In the process of communicating with students of the educational programs “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” and “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures”, the speakers focused on new project provisions and regulatory framework of the administrative-territorial system of Ukraine, expanding sources of income budgets of territorial communities with additional revenues, reforming the sphere of education and medicine, problems of using credit resources by local self-government bodies, as well as conditions of cooperation with adjacent territorial communities.
It was informative for the audience to consider the situation in the Lviv region in connection with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and which requires additional funding from the budgets of territorial communities of Lviv region and the regional budget.
During the lively discussion, students received comprehensive answers to their questions.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and aroused the interest of students who felt the importance and prospects of the chosen profession.
