Conducting an intellectual game “What? Where? When?” Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control

As part of the celebration of the 360th anniversary of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv on October 18, 2021, the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control held an intellectual game “What? Where? When?” on the topic “360 years of the glorious history of LNU. Ivan Franko “.

The format of the game was as close as possible to the famous TV game “What? Where? When?”.

Students of UFO-21s, UFO-31s and UFO-41s became members of the team of Experts: Andrusik Serhiy (captain), Boyko Oleksandra, Barbash Daniil, Zelinsky Yevheniy, Bobylyak Yuliya, Dikhtyaruk Daryna, Krokhmalny Vladyslav. The participants named their team “Non-standard variant”.

Teachers of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control were in the role of spectators who prepared 22 questions for the Experts.

Acting Head of the Department – Professor Romaniv EM was a defender of the interests of the team and when disputes arose over the crediting of points defended the position of the team.

During the game, Experts answered questions, the order of which was determined using a random number generator. Among the questions were both ordinary questions and questions from the sectors “Blitz”, “Black Box” and video questions.

The participants showed their knowledge of the history of the famous educational institution – Lviv National University and the Faculty of Financial Management and Business, where they study, and won the game with a score of 12: 3.

Teachers of the department have provided incentive prizes for team members, which will be a good incentive for students to further participate in activities organized by the department, faculty and the University.

The somewhat informal nature of the event, on the other hand, allowed both students and teachers to become open, who became mentors and mentors for their students.

We thank the students of the educational program “Accounting, Analysis and Financial Investigations” for a high level of preparation for the game, for organization and responsibility. And to the teachers of the department for active participation in the game and support of students.
