26.04.2021 Assoc. Prof. of Financial Management Department Dubyk V.Ya. together with the academic group UFF-22c specialty 072 Finance, Banking and Insurance held an educational event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.

It has been 35 years since the world was shaken by the terrible news of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, but the rainy day of the Chernobyl tragedy continues to worry people, both those affected by its bad wing and those who were later born far from the affected land.

The Chernobyl disaster will remain in our memory for a long time. We will feel its consequences for a long time, we will hear its bells for a long time. They will follow those who are no more, who will not be tomorrow, who have paid for someone’s mistake with their health and life. Memory… This is the only thing we can give to the heroes who, at the call of their native land, entered the burning reactor to protect their native people. These people, sparing no effort and life, took the oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine. We bow our heads in gratitude to the liquidators of this terrible accident.

Therefore, the purpose of the event was to awaken a sense of respect and memory for the tragic pages of Ukraine; the feeling of perceiving another’s pain as one’s own, the nation’s grief – as personal, the feeling of love for man, for the land, for the state.
