On March 23, 2023, a meeting of second (master’s) level higher education students under the “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” educational program took place with Renata Kolba, junior auditor of PwC SDC. The attention of the participants was focused on the discussion of issues of training competitive, innovatively oriented specialists in the field of finance.
The speaker made a special emphasis on the personal approach as the most effective in the field of student-centered learning. After all, attempts by future financiers to make non-standard decisions in difficult situations should be encouraged, although at first they may be unsuccessful. This motivates students of higher education and forces them to analyze their mistakes more deeply in order to achieve the desired result. “Professional and business qualities and creative activity of master’s students are developed by such an element of personal approach as industrial practice”: – said Ms. Renata.
The speaker noted the importance of studying disciplines according to the profile of the educational program, as well as disciplines studied at the bachelor’s level of education, the knowledge of which helped her in practical work. She also noted that by studying the chosen educational program, students of higher education have the opportunity to acquire general and professional educational competencies that are relevant for employment.
The integration of practitioners into the educational process contributes to deepening the practical focus of training competitive graduates who possess the necessary professional competencies. This enables second (master’s) level higher education students to be competitive specialists on the labor market in both public and private business structures.
