ADVANCED TRAINING OF ACADEMIC STAFF OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

The participants of the First Online School “Digital Technologies in Scientific Research”, including Hanna Komarnytska and Olena Herasymenko, Head of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Associate Professor of the same department, have successfully completed the advanced training programme. The programme, which lasted from 1 November to 13 December 2023, was developed by leading scientists:  The Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information (UkrINTEI); the Scientist Support Office; the Institute of Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; the Ivan Ziaziun Institute of Pedagogical and Adult Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Lifelong Education Centre educational hub.

During the training, the participants got acquainted with various digital tools and technologies that help to improve the efficiency of scientific research. Particular attention was paid to the use of cloud services, electronic libraries and other information and analytical systems for searching for scientific information. The participants also studied artificial intelligence tools that help in structuring scientific texts. Participants learnt how to visualise and promote research results using digital technologies.

The knowledge and skills gained will allow Anna Komarnytska and Olena Gerasymenko to conduct research more effectively and use digital tools to improve the quality of their work. This will be a useful contribution to the development of the scientific environment and will help improve research activities.
