ADAPTATION TRAINING for first-year students

On September 14, 2023, with the support of the Psychological Service of the Ivan Franko National University for the students of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” of groups UFF-11c (advisor O.R. Zahidna), UFF-12c (advisor V.Ya. Dubyk), UFF -13c (advisor U.Z. Vatamanyuk-Zelinska) and the educational program “Financial Management” of the UFM-11c group (advisor L.O. Petyk), ADAPTATION TRAINING was held for first-year students.

The purpose of the training is to promote the psychological adaptation of applicants to the conditions of study at the University, to unite student groups.

The speakers of the training got to know the students and shared their experiences, taught them the techniques of effective communication, discussed difficulties and problems, as well as their successful solution, which depends both on the internal qualities of the applicants and on the organization of the social environment of higher education institutions.

During the event, interactive exercises were used, tasks aimed at building a team, working in a group and helping to reduce the emotional distance, working out various situations.

Students took an active part in the training, showed activity, interest and expressed a desire to join the activities of the psychological service of the university in the future.
