A visit to the Lviv Territorial Aministration of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine by students of the UFP-31s group (Educational program “Public administration and business management”)

On May 23, 2023, the Director of the Lviv Territorial Administration of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Taras Lopushansky, met with students of the UFP-31s group, specialty 281 “Public Administration and Management ” of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University within the framework of familiarization visit to the Lviv Territorial Administration of NABU. The meeting was held on the initiative of the associate professor of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, adviser of the UFP-31s group Olena Reshota.

The main purpose of the visit to the central government body with a special status was to acquaint the students with the activities of the Lviv Territorial Department of NABU in the fight against and prevention of corruption and the formation of corruption intolerance in the young generation of future professionals in the field of public administration and business management.

As part of the presentation materials on the topic: “NABU. Work on two fronts” by Taras Lopushansky emphasized the effective struggle of anti-corruption agencies against the biggest internal enemy of Ukraine – corruption, introduced the history of creation, the main mission, the specifics of NABU’s activities in the conditions of a full-scale invasion, the economic effect of the activities of NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. During the dialogue with the students, the Director of the Lviv Territorial Administration of NABU also spoke about the experience of European states in the field of fighting corruption, about the effective activities of domestic corruption whistleblowers and the mechanisms for reporting corruption. A lively discussion and the greatest interest among students was caused by the information about the high-profile, unprecedented revelations of NABU top officials on corruption.
