Open lecture by the associate professor of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics, Ihor ROMANYCH, on the topic “Figures of technical analysis. Mathematical methods of technical analysis”

On April 29, 2024, an open lecture by the associate professor of the Department of Digital Economy and Business Analytics Romanych Igor Bogdanovich from the discipline “Forecasting socio-economic processes” on the topic “Figures of technical analysis. Mathematical methods of technical analysis”. The lecture was attended by students of the UFE-31c group of the ЕPP “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics”, as well as the professor-teaching staff of the department. Those interested could join the participation using the Microsoft Teams platform.

During the lecture, the main figures in technical analysis, which are formed on the graphs of the movement of asset prices on the market, were demonstrated and considered, the basic models of “Japanese candles” and their varieties were analyzed, trend indicators and oscillators were demonstrated and considered.

The material of the lecture will be practically fixed with students of higher education in laboratory classes using the Metastock program.
