Participation of guarantors of educational programs in the seminar “Quality higher education: discussion of stakeholders”
On October 8, 2021, Franko National University of Lviv hosted a regional seminar “Quality Higher Education: Stakeholder Discussion”. Participants in the seminar were members of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, experts, educators, and employers.
From the Faculty of Finance and Business, the seminar participants were guarantors of educational programs: “Personnel Management in Public Authorities and Business Structures” (Associate Professor Galina Kaplenko), “Finance, Customs and Tax Affairs” (Professor Natalia Sytnyk), “Accounting, Analysis and Audit ”(Associate Professor Svitlana Priymak).
The Chairman of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Serhiy Kvit addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcoming speech. Moderators of the seminar: Bohdan Morklyanyk (Deputy Chairman of the National Agency), Mykhailo Vynnytskyi (Head of the Secretariat of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality).
At the seminar, participants discussed the relationship between educational and professional qualifications, higher education standards, their purpose, regulatory framework and the quality of education.
The seminar was held in the format of a discussion, during which participants had the opportunity to ask all relevant questions to representatives of the National Agency and obtain the necessary information for further fruitful work on improving educational programs.
The second part of the seminar was a panel discussion “Quality through the eyes of stakeholders” with the participation of experts, students, educators and employers.
The third part of the seminar was practical: participants had the opportunity to work in groups (guarantors of educational programs, teachers, students, administration, employers) – to discuss, in a practical case from the National Agency, effective tools for quality assurance in higher education and their actual application.
