Round table of post-graduate students and students of higher education with the participation of stakeholders of the educational program “Public administration and business management” on the topic: “Business, state and society: peculiarities of interaction in modern conditions” (timed to celebrate Ivan Franko University Day)

On October 6, 2022, as part of the University Day celebration, the Department of Public Administration and Business Management of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv held a round table of graduate students and students of higher education with the participation of stakeholders of the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” on the topic: “Business, state and society: features of interaction in modern conditions” in a mixed format (online + offline).

The round table was attended by professors and teaching staff of the department, graduate students, students of higher education major 281 “Public management and administration”, members of the student scientific circle “State Creator” and stakeholders of the educational program “Public administration and business management”.

The following stakeholders were present: Bohdan Ivanus – head of the cooperation project implementation sector of the territorial cooperation department of the city agglomeration department; Natalia Paterukha – leading specialist of the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional Military Administration; Oleksandr Stanasiuk – head of “Spivdiya hub” in Lviv region; Maria Ustymenko – head of the public organization “Innovative Ukraine”; Dmytro Pfister – leading specialist of the energy management department of the economic management department of the economic development department of the Lviv City Council; Khrystyna Rymar – leading inspector of the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Regional Military Administration; Roman Sayevich – director of the limited liability company “Havrak” and others.

The purpose of the round table of post-graduate students and students of higher education with the participation of stakeholders of the educational program “Public administration and business management” on the topic: “Business, state and society: features of interaction in modern conditions” is to exchange the results of scientific research, discuss theoretical and applied aspects related to with new approaches to communications between business and authorities, to ensure effective management of socio-economic processes based on an optimal combination of national, regional and local interests, dialogue with the public and business representatives in martial law conditions.

Moderators of the event were: Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Head of the Scientific Circle “State Creator” Olena Reshota and Maria Kormylo, a student of the UFP-31s group.

Graduates of higher education major 281 “Public management and administration” had the opportunity to present their scientific research: on the problem of communications between business and government in wartime; peculiarities of cooperation between the state and business structures regarding volunteer activities; the work of controlling and regulatory institutions of the state during the introduction of martial law in Ukraine; migration processes related to hostilities and assistance to internally displaced persons; development and practical cases of the Prozorro system; about the advantages of the Unified portal of public services Action in wartime and other. Both freshmen and graduates of the OP “Public Administration and Business Management” presented their work.

  9. Bodnaruk Nadiya, UFP-31s group, “SpivDiya – a platform for uniting volunteer and state initiatives for humanitarian aid during wartime” (scientific director: candidate of state administration, associate professor O. Reshota);
  10. Chernyeva Alina, UFP-11s group, “Interaction of the state and civil society in the conditions of martial law (on the example of assistance to internally displaced persons and activities of IDP assistance centers)” (scientific director: candidate of state administration, associate professor O. Reshota);
  11. Oleksiy Shchelkonogov, UFP-21s group, “The influence of small and medium-sized businesses on the development of society” (scientific director: candidate of economic sciences, associate professor O. Malinovska).

I would like to especially note the speeches and discussion of practical cases of applicants who entered the University from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and whose parents are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the end of the round table, the head of the “State Creator” research group, associate professor of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Olena Reshota, introduced the new head of the research group, 3rd year student Bodnaruk Nadiya.
