Presentation of international academic mobility opportunities for students of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management

An information meeting on international academic mobility opportunities for students of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management was held at the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The event was organised on the initiative of the Head of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Doctor of Economics, Professor Hanna Komarnytska.

At her invitation, the guest was Oksana Kraievska, Associate Professor of the Department of European and Regional Studies, Head of the Academic Mobility Department, Institutional Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme at the University and a leading specialist in the International Relations Department.

During the presentation, Oksana Anatoliivna highlighted various aspects of participation in academic mobility projects, including:

– Tools for finding information about opportunities for students of different courses;

– Tips for preparing freshmen for future projects;

– Requirements for foreign language proficiency and academic performance;

– Criteria for participation in mobility competitions.

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for both bachelors and masters. Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions and shared their opinions.

Oksana Anatoliivna also provided practical advice on how to prepare for participation in mobility programmes, in particular:

– How to write a CV correctly;

– How to test and improve your English language skills.

In addition, the possibilities of academic mobility for academic staff were discussed.

The meeting, initiated by the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, was an important step in raising students’ awareness of the international opportunities offered by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. These events help students to better assess their prospects and prepare for participation in academic mobility programmes.
