Involvement of practitioners in the educational process

An important element of quality education is the involvement of practitioners in the educational process.

          On November 3, 2022, a guest lecture on the academic discipline “Financial Reporting” was held for students of the IV year of the educational program “Finance, Customs and Taxation” (lecturer – Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Management Iryna Yasinovska). The lecture was held with the participation of Iryna Bey – Senior Tax Specialist in the Tax & Legal Service department at PwC Lviv SDC.

             Iryna Bey told the students of higher education about the company, the skills and abilities that are important to be in demand on the labor market. She emphasized analytical thinking, understanding business processes and financial analytics, teamwork, and leadership. They discussed the peculiarities of the formation and procedure of reporting by enterprises in Ukraine and EU countries. Students of higher education actively participated in the discussion.

         Such meetings contribute to the strengthening of the practical orientation of professional disciplines and form the skills necessary for the further successful career of financial specialists.
