Participation of teachers of the department of public administration and business management in the advanced training course “How to create an inclusive environment?” within the framework of the joint German-Ukrainian project “Educational Bridge Chemnitz-Lviv 2.0”
In the period from December 16 to 21, 2023, associate professors of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Olena Gerasymenko and Olena Reshota, successfully completed advanced training under the program “How to create an inclusive educational environment?” (30 academic hours, 1 ECTS credit), which took place within the framework of the joint project “Educational Bridge Chemnitz-Lviv 2.0″ of Chemnitz Technical University and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv”.
The professional development program took place in a mixed format and included speeches by speakers on the following topics:
- Olga Stolaryk: “Social inclusion as an increase in the resilience of students and scientific and pedagogical workers”;
- Olga Lytvynenko: “Basic concepts and principles of inclusive education in a higher education institution”;
- Maryana Porodko: “System of working with students with special educational needs in institutions of higher education”, “Education and support of persons with musculoskeletal disorders in institutions of higher education”;
- Ihor Buschak: “Organizational aspects of training specialists in working with students with special educational needs in institutions of higher education”;
- Olena Buschak: “Individualization of education. Simple and accessible tools in the inclusive space of a higher education institution”;
- Volodymyr Shevchenko: “Education and support of persons with hearing impairment in institutions of higher education”;
- Yaryna Tanchak: “Reintegration of veterans from military service into civilian life”;
- Svitlana Nezabytovska: “Peculiarities of pedagogical interaction with students of higher education institutions who are experiencing complex psycho-emotional states”
- Olesya Perepechenko-Ryabukha: “Communication and interaction of visually impaired applicants in higher education institutions.”
Within the framework of the project, a meeting was also held with a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, a first contact specialist at the Superhumans Center, Denys Kryvenk.
Based on the training program “How to create an inclusive educational environment?” Associate Professors of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management Olena Gerasymenko and Olena Reshota achieved the following learning outcomes, namely: understanding the importance of creating an inclusive educational environment; the ability to apply methods, techniques and techniques for teaching and interaction with students with visual, hearing, musculoskeletal disorders and students experiencing complex psycho-emotional conditions and those undergoing the process of reintegration; the ability to use digital solutions that allow creating a barrier-free, inclusive educational environment.
