IMPROVING THE QUALIFICATIONS OF TEACHERS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING, ANALYSIS AND CONTROL “HOW TO CREATE AN INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT?” (A JOINT PROJECT OF THE KHEMNIC TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY AND THE IVAN FRANK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF Lviv”)

In the period from December 16 to 21, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control of the Ivan Franko National University of Applied Sciences, Natalia Loboda, successfully completed advanced training under the program “How to create an inclusive educational environment?”, which took place within the framework of the joint project “Educational bridge Chemnitz-Lviv 2.0″ of Chemnitz Technical University and Ivan Franko Lviv National University”.
Chemnitz Technical University is a long-standing partner of Lviv University, a cooperation agreement with which was concluded back in 1992.


The professional development program was aimed at improving the qualification level of scientific, pedagogical and administrative staff on issues of inclusion, introducing and spreading the principles of inclusive education in institutions of higher education in Ukraine, and also aimed at training teachers and administrative staff to work with students with various educational needs, expanding their knowledge about teaching and assessment methods that take into account the needs of all participants in the educational process.
The professional development program was held in a mixed format and included speeches by the following speakers: Olga Stolaryk, Lytvynenko, Maryana Porodko and others. The lectures were devoted to general issues and principles of inclusion, social inclusion as a means of increasing the resilience of students and scientific and pedagogical workers, the system of working with students with special educational needs.
Within the framework of the project, a meeting was held with a serviceman, head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ivan Tymochko, who shared his own experience of perceiving military and civilian everyday life and gave recommendations on the culture of communication with military personnel returning from the war.

The results of professional development (CERTIFICATE – 30 academic hours, 1 ECTS credit) are particularly relevant for application in the modern educational process. In particular, understanding the importance of creating an inclusive educational environment is valuable.
