EDUCATIONAL EVENT FOR THE 209TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF T.G. SHEVCHENKA FOR STUDENTS OF THE UFO-11S GROUP

Names that humanity remembers and honors with pride remain forever in history. Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko, the Great Kobzar of the Ukrainian people, belongs to the glorious cohort of such people.
On the eve of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko’s birthday on March 8, 2023, students of the UFO-11c group and advisor Assoc. Loboda N.O. held an educational event on the theme: “209 years since the birth of T.G. Shevchenko” to the 209th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko – an outstanding Ukrainian poet, novelist, playwright, artist, political and public figure.
During the educational lesson, it was noted that T.G. Shevchenko was a man of universal gifts and interests. His entire life and work were dedicated to the Ukrainian people. The poet dreamed of the times when his country would be an independent sovereign state, when the language, culture and history of the people would be respected in Ukraine, and people would be happy.

The students together with the adviser noted that the name of Taras Shevchenko is known all over the world: monuments to him have been erected in many countries, his works have been translated into almost all languages of the world, educational institutions, theaters, squares, streets are named after him in Ukraine , cities Taras Shevchenko Avenue near the city of Lviv, National Opera of Ukraine, Kyiv National University named after Taras Shevchenko is named after the outstanding son of the Ukrainian people – Taras Shevchenko.

At the end of the event, the participants watched the video “The face of Ukrainian history. Taras Shevchenko”.
Summarizing the results of the event, it is worth noting that today’s youth and students in these March days with new strength realize the greatness of spirit and the power of the mighty talent of T.G. Shevchenko. His life forever remains an example of the indomitability of a person who devoted himself to the noble goal of liberating his people from social and national oppression, fighting for the happiness of all people.
