Why external sociological monitoring is important: The European Union Advisory Mission held a discussion on the reform of law enforcement agencies and prosecutors

The meeting was held to create an informed common platform to explore the importance of implementing annual sociological external monitoring, facilitate practical discussions on strategies to strengthen oversight mechanisms, and ensure that learnings contribute to ongoing efforts to improve transparency and accountability of law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.

Natalia Paterukha, assistant of the Department of Public Management and Administration, took part in the discussion.

The practical cases discussed during the meeting will be taken into account in the formation of Priority 6 of the Action Plan for the Comprehensive Strategy for Law Enforcement Reform.
