Conducting a meeting of the Department of Accounting, Analysis and Control as part of the report conference of Ivan Franko Lviv National University

On February 5, 2024, the accounting, analysis and control department held a meeting of the accounting, analysis and control subsection within the reporting conference of the Ivan Franko National University. The scientific event was opened by the head of the department, professor E.M. Romaniv.

Given the fact that Ukraine’s economy is under martial law, this requires a scientifically based approach to reforming all institutional links. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop specific measures to improve accounting, control, analysis, audit and taxation, increase the quality and content of training of qualified specialists.
The program of the conference defined the following directions for the realization of the above-mentioned goal: international and national experience in the development of accounting in conditions of martial law; economic analysis and analytical support for managing the activities of business entities; problems of harmonization of financial reporting in Ukraine with international standards; accounting in the context of prospects for improving the taxation of business activities in Ukraine; audit in conditions of economic globalization; the quality and content of the training of specialists in area 071 “Accounting and taxation”.
