Master’s (qualification) theses on topical issues related to public administration and administration under martial law in Ukraine were presented for defence.

The graduates presented research on new methods and tools of public administration adapted to the conditions of martial law.  They considered the issues of improving the development strategy of amalgamated territorial communities, developing a model of partnership between public authorities and business, as well as the interaction of the state, business and civil society under martial law. We studied the impact of martial law on public administration. We considered the issues of improving the digitalisation processes in public authorities, the impact of information warfare on the public and public administration, as well as state regulation of small business development during martial law. We analysed the problems of implementing public administration under martial law. They discussed the implementation of public administration in the social sphere, improvement of urban development in times of war, development of professional competence of public servants, introduction of electronic services by Centres for Administrative Services and communication interaction between public administration bodies and civil society institutions.

The defence was of a high standard. The graduates demonstrated in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of public management and administration.  The Head of the SEC highly appreciated the level of training of the graduates and recommended that they be awarded a Master’s degree in Public Administration.

Congratulations to the graduates of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management on the successful defence of their master’s theses! We wish them success in their future careers and fulfilment in society.
