Improving the qualifications of teachers of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management on the topic: “ACADEMIC INTEGRITY IN THE TRAINING OF MASTERS AND DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (PHD) IN THE COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AND UKRAINE”

Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, PhD in Public Administration, Olena Reshota, participated in an international faculty development program on the topic of “ACADEMIC INTEGRITY IN THE PREPARATION OF MASTER’S AND DOCTORAL STUDENTS (PHD) IN THE EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES AND UKRAINE” from April 8 to 17, 2024, in Lublin, Republic of Poland.

The international faculty development program (webinar) was organized by the Scientific Research Institute of the Lublin Science and Technology Park and IESF International Foundation of Scientists and Educators. The program included completion of educational workload of 1.5 ECTS credits (45 hours), consisting of 12 hours of lectures, 20 hours of practical work, and 13 hours of self-study.

The webinar program covered the following topics:

  • Implementation of academic integrity in higher education institutions;
  • Contemporary global standards of academic writing: from theory to practice (considering the requirements of leading global publishers and universities);
  • Effective policies of academic integrity in the preparation of master’s and doctoral students in Ukraine;
  • Academic integrity as a guarantee of quality education, etc.
