Ivan Katsimon, a Student of the Faculty of Financial Management and Business, Won 2nd Place at the Denys Monastyrskyi All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Works in Specialty D4 “Public Management and Administration”
On June 2, 2026, Ivan Katsimon, a higher education student of the educational and professional program “Public Administration and Business Management” at the Faculty of Financial Management and Business of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, won the honorable 2nd place at the Denys Monastyrskyi All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Works in specialties D8 “Law” and D4 “Public Management and Administration”.
Ivan Katsimon’s competition paper on the topic “Institutional architecture of smart governance as an anti-crisis tool for the spatial transformation of territorial communities in the conditions of Ukraine’s post-war recovery” deserved special attention and high praise from the expert jury. This research is an undeniable testament to the author’s deep analytical thinking and high level of scientific maturity. Ivan Katsimon’s work is distinguished by a fundamental approach to solving highly complex problems of public administration. The student did not merely explore theoretical concepts but proposed an innovative “smart governance” architecture vital for our state. His findings demonstrate a thorough understanding of spatial transformation mechanisms and offer effective anti-crisis tools that have significant practical importance for the efficient post-war recovery of Ukraine’s territorial communities.
The research was carried out under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Olena Reshota, Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration, Associate Professor at the Department of Public Administration and Business Management, Faculty of Financial Management and Business, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
The approbation of the results of this comprehensive research took place on June 12, 2026, during the final All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the memory of Denys Monastyrskyi. The event was traditionally held at the Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law. During the public presentation, the prize-winner demonstrated exceptional scientific discussion skills, convincing argumentation, and a deep mastery of the material.
