Hello! My name is Anya and I am a 4th year student of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where I study in the educational program “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics”. If in my first year of the University they had told me that I would have a whole year of mobility (Tuscany University in 2023 and 2024), I probably would not have believed it.

Erasmus+ is an experience that changes the worldview and for me it:

  1. find a new home for a few months and feel like part of another culture.
  2. have friends from all over the world.
  3. wait for a scholarship with more impatience than anything else.
  4. tell everyone about Ukraine.
  5. take a semester abroad and get used to a new education system.
  6. mix three languages in your head every day and not even notice it.
  7. three-hour lectures in Italian, which at first seem like a challenge.
  8. cook Ukrainian dishes for foreigners.
  9. discover different cultures and realize how multifaceted the world is.
  10. take pictures of every beautiful corner of Italy, because you want to remember everything.

This is my experience and everyone’s Erasmus+ is different, but no less wonderful, I’m sure. So if you have any thoughts about applying for this program – don’t hesitate.

Good luck and remember: Once Erasmus – Always Erasmus!
