European program to support education Erasmus+: student Anna KOZYK talked about her studies in Italy
Hello! My name is Anya and I am a 4th year student of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, where I study in the educational program “Information Technologies in Business” specialty 051 “Economics”. If in my first year of the University they had told me that I would have a whole year of mobility (Tuscany University in 2023 and 2024), I probably would not have believed it.
Erasmus+ is an experience that changes the worldview and for me it:
- find a new home for a few months and feel like part of another culture.
- have friends from all over the world.
- wait for a scholarship with more impatience than anything else.
- tell everyone about Ukraine.
- take a semester abroad and get used to a new education system.
- mix three languages in your head every day and not even notice it.
- three-hour lectures in Italian, which at first seem like a challenge.
- cook Ukrainian dishes for foreigners.
- discover different cultures and realize how multifaceted the world is.
- take pictures of every beautiful corner of Italy, because you want to remember everything.
This is my experience and everyone’s Erasmus+ is different, but no less wonderful, I’m sure. So if you have any thoughts about applying for this program – don’t hesitate.
Good luck and remember: Once Erasmus – Always Erasmus!
