Ukraine’s European Integration Path: Students and Faculty of the Department of Financial Management Attend an Open Lecture by the Head of the EU Advisory Mission
On May 19, 2026, bachelor students from the Department of Financial Management took part in an important and highly relevant event – an open lecture by Rolf Holmboe, Head of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) in Ukraine. The main theme of the meeting was the European integration of our state and the key prospects for attaining full EU membership.
The event, held in the University’s Assembly Hall, united the academic community to discuss Ukraine’s strategic future. Alongside the student youth, the lecture was attended by the department’s faculty members: Prof. I. Nazarkevych, Assoc. Prof. I. Yasinovska, and Assoc. Prof. O. Sych.
The meeting was conducted in English, providing students with an additional opportunity to immerse themselves in an English-speaking professional environment. It was an excellent chance to hear an expert perspective from a top-level diplomat on the current challenges and prospects of Ukraine’s European integration path.
Attendees had the opportunity not only to listen to the presentation but also to join a lively discussion on important issues regarding the future of our state within the European community. Understanding the processes of adapting Ukrainian legislation and reforming the economy and financial sector to meet EU standards is an integral part of training modern financiers, and participation in such events allows students to significantly broaden their professional horizons.
The Department of Financial Management continues to actively support the involvement of students in international dialogue and events that contribute to their professional growth in the context of European values!
