Transparency in action: corporate reform, privatisation and public control
In September-October, more than 170 representatives of media, education, science and civil society organisations from all over Ukraine took part in a series of webinars entitled ‘Transparency in Action: Corporate Reform, Privatisation and Public Oversight’, organised by Internews Ukraine with the support of the USAID/UKaid SOERA project. Representatives of the Department of Public Administration and Business Management of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv also joined the training. In particular, the Head of the Department, Hanna Komarnytska, and the Deputy Head, Olena Gerasymenko, joined the training. This programme has become a valuable source of knowledge thanks to the practical examples and experience of the speakers. Upon completion of the training, the participants received certificates.
The participants were trained in three main areas:
🔹 Corporate reform;
Privatisation and lease of state property;
Open data and fundraising in the context of reforms.
The programme was structured as a series of three interactive webinars, where participants could communicate directly with speakers, including experts from SOERA, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Prozorro.Sale and Internews Ukraine.
Thanks to this programme, participants gained important knowledge for effective public control and professional coverage of the state property management reform.
We thank the organisers for their contribution to the development of transparency in Ukraine!
