Training “Pass/Fail. Session” by the Psychological Service of LNU for Students of the UFP-11s Group, Educational and Professional Program “Public Administration and Business Management”
Ahead of the exam session, the Psychological Service of LNU held the “Pass/Fail. Session” training for first-year students of the Educational and Professional Program “Public Administration and Business Management” program, group UFP-11s (advisor – Associate Professor O. Reshota). The goal of the training was to help students overcome stress, uncertainty, and prepare for their first exam session.
The psychologists shared practical tips for successful preparation and exam performance:
✔ Avoid sedatives – they reduce concentration. Instead, use techniques to calm yourself, stick to a sleep schedule, and include physical activity and outdoor walks.
✔Proper nutrition is essential for improving memory and concentration.
✔Set clear preparation goals and prioritize them.
✔Break large tasks into smaller steps to avoid procrastination.
To apply the knowledge gained, students had the opportunity to solve a case by splitting into two teams. One group played the role of students who failed the session, while the other acted as psychologists offering advice on how to avoid this outcome. This approach allowed participants to not only learn theoretically but also practice strategies for stress management and effective exam preparation.
At the end of the training, it was emphasized that success depends on confidence in your knowledge and in yourself! 💪📖
We would like to express our gratitude to the representatives of the Psychological Service of LNU for the engaging and insightful training!
