As part of the practical implementation of the Green University concept, the Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel (Faculty of Economics and Management of ZUNU) operates the Ecological School of Public Management for Sustainable Development.

On October 2-5, 2025, the Ecological School of Public Management for Sustainable Development “Karpaty-2025” will be held for the fifth time.

The Ecological School of Public Management for Sustainable Development is a modern dynamic space that unites universities. This year, an innovative environmental project will be implemented jointly with the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

 The participants of the school are students of the educational program “Public Management and Administration” (Department of Management, Public Administration and Personnel of the Faculty of Economics and Management of ZUNU) and the educational program “Public Administration and Business Management” (Department of Public Administration and Business Management of the Faculty of Finance and Business Management of Ivan Franko Lviv National University) of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education.

The locations of the School are nature conservation and cultural and historical sites of the Sambir district of the Lviv region, in particular the National Nature Park “Boykivshchyna”.

 The School plans to hold an ecological quest “UN Global Sustainable Development Goals”, an interactive open-air event “Inclusivity in organizing an ecological trail: barriers to implementation”, a foresight laboratory “Using the ecological potential of the community”, a discussion panel “The role of youth in ensuring sustainable development”, and a historical and cultural journey “Secrets of Boykivshchyna”
