Taras Shevchenko is an outstanding Ukrainian poet, artist, prose writer, thinker and public figure, who is considered the “Kobzar” and the national hero of Ukraine, the founder of the modern Ukrainian literary language. His work and life, full of struggle against serfdom and imperialism, became a symbol of Ukrainian national identity, and his testaments about freedom and dignity are still relevant today.
The advisor of the UFP-11s group, Olha Yaroslavivna Malinovska, together with students, held an educational hour dedicated to honoring the birthday of Taras Shevchenko – an outstanding Ukrainian poet, artist and public figure. The event is aimed at deepening students’ knowledge about the life and work of the artist, forming respect for the national culture and history of Ukraine. During the educational hour, the participants got acquainted with the main stages of Taras Shevchenko’s life, the significance of his work for the Ukrainian people and modernity. The event contributed to the development of patriotic feelings, interest in Ukrainian literature and the spiritual heritage of Ukraine.
